Virginia Muriel Christensen

Virginia Christensen of Pine City died Thursday at her home in Pine City, Minnesota at the age of 91 years. Virginia Christensen is survived by her children: Sharon Kildal and her husband Maurice of Webster, NY, David Christensen and wife Jeanne of Maple Grove, Barbara Christensen of Northfield, Mike Christensen and wife Sue of Shakopee, Bette Christensen of Pine City; son-like-nephew: Bob Haugen and wife Irene of Pine City, 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother David Haugen and wife Ethel of Circle Pines, sisters-in-law Olga Linge of Askov, Anna Olson of Youngstown, AZ., Marjorie Christensen of Napolean, North Dakota, many nieces, nephews and her special cats. Pastor Vicki VanderVegt will officiate at Virginia’s memorial service; 3:00 p.m. Saturday (2/5/11) at the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Pine City. A time of visitation is scheduled for one hour prior to the service at the church. A spring interment is planned for Virginia Christensen in the Henriette Cemetery in Henriette.
