Annette Ann Tracy

Annette Ann Tracy was born Feb. 4, 1955 to Hiram and Helen Stevens in Rush City, MN. Annette grew up in the Rush City area and attended Rush City schools. She married James Tracy at the Presbyterian Church in Pine City, MN in Oct. 1, 1977 and had two sons Joshua and Adam. Annette worked as a seamstress and a nursing assistant until moving to Texas with her husband and son in 1981. In 1983 she returned with her husband and two sons to Pine City, MN and worked as a CNA in Rush City and Pine City nursing homes. Annette was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed drinking coffee on the deck, bird watching, gardening, camping, fishing, motorcycle rides and visiting with family and friends. Annette passed away peacefully Thursday (2/10/11) at her home at the age of 56 after an extended battle with cancer. Annette is survived by her husband Jim Tracy, Sons; Josh (Renee) Tracy of Hammond, Wisconsin, Adam Tracy of Pine City, siblings; Mary (Frankie) Shermer of Pine City, Monica (Eugene) Norris of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Irene (Jerry) Trent of Rock Creek, LaRee Stevens of Balsam Lake, Wisconsin, Della Dennison of Stacy, David (Cindy) Stevens of Pine City and many nieces and nephews. Annette is preceded in death by her parents Hiram and Helen Stevens, her brother Wendell Stevens, nephew Matthew Trent and niece Katy Stevens. A memorial service will be officiated by Rev. Harry Lichey; 2:30 p.m. Friday (2/18/11) at the First Presbyterian Church in Pine City, MN. A time of visitation is scheduled for Friday at church from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
