Walter "Walt" A. Duzan

Walt Duzan died Wednesday evening, March 30th at Lakeside Nursing Home in PIne City at the age of 92.  He is survived by his wife Vera;  his children, John and his wife Marie of the state of Georgia; Karen and her husband Steve Mueller of Michigan;  Jeffrey and his wife Sally of Bemidji;  Steven and his wife Betty of South Carolina.  He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a sister Dorothy Hruby of Montgomery, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Frieda Duzan, his sister Betty Doran, and his brothers Lorence, Albert, and Floyd. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 3rd at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Pine City.  A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 2nd from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Swanson Funeral Chapel and will continue on Sunday 1 hour prior to the service at the church.  Inurnment with military honors will be held at Hilltop Cemetery in Pine City.
