Gertrude Althoff

Gertie Althoff of Rush City died Tuesday (April 19, 2011) at the Continuing Care Center in Grantsburg, WI at the age of 89 years.    She is survived by her sons: Leland and his wife Donna of Hartford, IL, Gary Althoff of Rush City; daughter Sharon and her husband Kurtis of Pine City; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; sister Grace Aubert of Frederick, WI.   Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 23rd at First Presbyterian Church in Pine City with Rev. Harry Lichy officiating.    A time of visitation and reviewal will take place on Friday evening from 4-7 p.m. at the Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City.   The interment will be in the William Taylor Cemetery of Rush City.    Funeral arrangements for Gertie Althoff (Mrs. Stanley Althoff) are entrusted to the Funeral and Cremation Service~Swanson Chapel of Pine City, MN.
