David Melvin Mold passed away at his home in Golden Valley, on June 30, 2011. He was 45 years old.
David was born to Alden and Lorraine Mold in Rush City on April 10, 1966. In David’s younger years he worked at the Grant House Hotel for Paul and Sharon Schafer. He graduated from North Branch High School in 1984, and moved to the Metro area where he worked at Wells Fargo as a loan officer for many years.
David was a kind hearted and giving person who enjoyed working on stained glass, gardening and decorating. His love for his family will be missed dearly.
David is survived by his life partner of 22 years, Matt Schiller; siblings: Mike (Jean) Mold of Vernal, Utah; Cheryl (Dan) Julik of Chisago City; Brian (Debi) Mold of Rush City; Laurie (Todd) Rick of Ramsey; Julie (Vern) Monson of Henriette; and Charles Mold of Vernal, Utah; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alden "Sonny" and Lorraine (Swing) Mold, and his grandparents.
A private family graveside service is planned.
Memorials are preferred to a cancer association of the donors choice.
