Chanthalangsy "Chan" Inthavong

Chanthalangsy (Chan) Inthavong, age 51, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2011 in Harris, Minnesota. Chan was born on August 11th 1959 to Mr. Phanh and Mrs. Boualay Inthavong in Thakhek, Laos. Chan loved music and played guitar to pass the time. He also enjoyed dancing, fishing and sports. He participated in Special Olympics in bowling, basketball, and softball. In the last five years, he lived in Harris, MN at a residence where he was supported and loved by a caring staff led by Tiffany Jendro. Chan is survived by his son Patrick Inthavong of Denton, TX, his mother Boualay Inthavong from TX, his brother Khamsay Inthavong from France, his sister Pat Satanski from TX, his sister Khanthavy Thammavong from Canada, his sister Phanavanh Kongxaysy of Laos, seven nieces and six nephews. May Chan rest in peace and continue to strum his guitar and drink his pop in heaven. Services will be held at a later date in Texas.
