Christine Dickson-Thompson of Mora; formerly of Rush City and Pine City; died Friday (11/11/11) surrounded by her loving family at her home in Mora, MN. at the age of 64. She was born on December 9, 1946. Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Erhard and Janina Dickson of Harris; and mother-in-law, Vivian Gustafson of Mora. Christine is survived by her husband of 38 years, Kenneth Thompson of Mora; children, son, Patrick and RoseMarie Stumne of Hinckley, daughter, Kimmie Stumne-Fedder of Cambridge, son, Shaun Thompson of Mora, and step-daughter Lisa and Chad Heath of Pine City; brother, Clair and Ethel Dickson of Harris; grandchildren, Joshua Stumne and Kailyn Stumne of Mora, Sasha Everetts of Cambridge, Domonic Neal, Dylan and Damon Thompson of Mora; great-grandson, Knox Stone of Cambridge; also brother-in-laws; sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews and her special 4-legged companions, Tasha and Meka. Christine previously worked at Green Acres Nursing Home in North Branch, Lakeside Nursing Home in Pine City and EPC in Mora. She was currently employed at Plastech Corp. in Rush City. She loved spending time with her family and shopping. She loved celebrating all holidays with Christmas being her favorite. Nothing brought her more joy than seeing her family gathered at her dinner table. Until we are together again, you will be in our hearts. Shaheen Eydgahi of Abundant Life Fellowship in North Branch will officiate at memorial services; 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the Olson Funeral Chapel in Rush City with visitation one hour prior to the service. A private family inurnment will take place in the First Lutheran Cemetery in Rush City.
