Joseph Charles “Joe” LoBello, age 53, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Pine City, MN.
Joe grew up in Bloomington playing baseball, shooting hoops in the driveway and hanging out with his buddies along the banks of the Minnesota River. He loved to camp with his friends and family and never outgrew his love for the outdoors and the serenity of country living.
In 1977, he graduated from Jefferson High School eventually making his way to Pine City which he called home. He found himself a cabin on the Snake River where he could “wet a line” any time. He worked in the construction trade and took on cabin projects with the help from his brothers-in-law and friends. Joe loved the peacefulness of the river and considered his neighbors family.
Joe is preceded in death by his father Charles (Chuck) and survived by his mother, Erma, of Bloomington; sisters Mary (Dan) Garske of Elko, LuAnn (Bruce) Andersen of Eden Prairie, Donna (Thomas) Prok of Bloomington and Gina (Thomas) Lange of West Bend, WI. Nieces and nephews; Bree (Andersen) Blevins, Cory Johnson, Trevor and Jesse Garske, Alex Lange and great niece and nephew Jordan and Madison Blevins along with Godson Joey Taverna.
Joe was a free spirit. He was liked by everyone who met him and was loved by everyone who knew him. His family was important to him as was his family of friends. Thank you to all who meant so much to him. Life will not be as fun without him.
Deacon Mark Pulkrabek will officiate at the funeral service 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 20, 2012 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church; 535 8th St. S. W.; Pine City, MN with a time of visitation one hour prior at the church.
