Rita Anne Webber

Rita died on Saturday, January 28th at the Lakeside Nursing Home in Pine City where she had lived for the past several years.  She was 86 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents Achille "Archie" J. and Parmelie (Menard) Thibodeau, her husband Charles F. Webber, sons Peter Webber and Jerome Webber, and brother Marcel Thibodeau. She is survived by a son Ben Webber and his wife Connie of Eden Praire, daughters Pat and her husband Glenn Shatava of Maple Grove and Cathy and her husband Dennis Gottschalk of Pine City.  She is also survived by 8 grandchildren:  Carrie (Leo) Moreno, Candi Webber, Brandon Webber, Lisa (Darren) Remore, Blaise Shatava, Derrick Shatava, Christopher (Becky) Gottshalk, Kimberly (Nathan) Payne, 8 great grandchildren:  Carissa & Aliceyn Remore, Zachary & Alexander Moreno, Lydia & Lauren Gottschalk, & Hailey & Austin Payne, sisters-in-law: Lillian Olson of Rush City, Betty Thibedeau of Missouri; and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 31st at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 535 8th St. SW, Pine City.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be on Monday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service and rosary, all at the Swanson Chapel.  Visitation will also be on Tuesday 1 hour prior to the service at the church in the St. Anthony Commons. The family prefers memorials. Arrangements are with the Swanson Funeral Chapel of Pine City.
