Edward Charles Lausted, age 87, of Pine City, formerly of Duluth, died Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Lakeside Medical Center in Pine City.
Edward was a dairy farmer in Tainter Township in the Colfax, Wisconsin area until 1987. He enjoyed music and for several years he was in a men's barbershop group and also a member of the church choir at Tainter United Methodist Church.
He is survived by children: Mary (Bruce) Browers of Pine City, Charles Lausted of Miami, Florida; seven grandchildren: Michael Browers and his wife Elnara of Shakopee, Jesse Browers and his wife Kristine of Brooklyn Park, Laura Browers of Chaska, John Browers and his wife Caitlyn of Vadnais Heights, Melissa Bliss, Hunter Lausted, Chase Lausted all of Miami. Florida; great grand children: Sophia, Jackson, Jakob, Eli, Caden and Tyler.
Edward is preceded in death by his wife Viola, parents Edward and Amanda (Maves) Lausted and grandson Jay.
Pastor Frank Evans will officiate at memorial services for Edward Lausted; 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Funeral and Cremation Service~Swanson Chapel in Pine City. A time of visitation is planned for one hour prior to the service.
