Virgil Richard Magnuson

Virgil Magnuson, age 93 of Rush City, formerly of Columbia Heights, passed away on March 18, 2012 surrounded by his family. He is survived by wife of 62 yrs, Jeane Magnuson, daughters Nancy (Paul) Laux of Lexington, Mavis (Bruce) Ude of Belle Fourche, South Dakota, grandchildren: Paul "PJ" Laux and friend Jackie Illies, Laura (Jay) Herring, Lisa (David) Elinger, Morgan Ude, great grandchildren: Seth and Sammy Elinger, sisters-in-law: June E Ruth of Prescott, Arizona, and Erna Olson fo St. Paul. Virgil is preceded in death by his parents Melker and Esther Magnuson, brother Marvin Magnuson, sister-in-law Helen Magnuson, and brothers-in-law: Henry Olson, Ed Ruth. Reverend Keith Kolzow will officiate services 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2012, with visitation one hour prior at Calvary Lutheran Church, 600 Rush Point Dr., Stanchfield, Minnesota. Memorials are preferred to Calvary Lutheran or a memorial of the donors choice.
