Thomas Allan Kosik was born September 13, 1934 in Pine City, Minnesota to Frank and Elizabeth (Ausmus) Kosik.
Tom and his five siblings grew up in Pine City. Tom graduated from Pine City High School in 1952. In 1955, Tom joined the United States Air Force and served honorably until 1959. After his military service he went to work for Republic Airlines where he worked for 20 years. After retiring from the airline industry, he went to work as groundskeeper at the Pine City Country Club for many years.
Tom was active in the Heath Perkins American Legion where he served in many positions including Post Commander. In his free time, Tom loved to read and watch sports.
Tom Kosik died at his home on Monday, April 23,2012, at the age of 77.
Tom is survived by his four brothers: Jerry Kosik and his wife Carole of Richfield, Richard Kosik of Pine City, Donald Kosik and his wife Mary Lee of Elizabeth City, NC, Frank Kosik and his wife Betty of St. Michael; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Elizabeth Kosik and sister Patricia Tourville.
A memorial graveside service will be held at Birchwood Cemetery in Pine City on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.
