Florence T. Jankovich

Florence Theresa Jankovich of Pine City died Sunday evening, August 5th at the First Light Hospital in Mora, Minnesota.  Florence was born in Albany, Minnesota to Charles and Anna (Major) Kubicek.  As a young lady she moved to St. Paul where she met and married Francis "Frank" Jankovich.  They raised their family in South St. Paul.  Several years after the death of her husband, Florence moved to Pine City where she has resided until her death.  She was preceded in death by her husband Frank, and ten brothers and sisters.  She is survived by her children:  Lorie (Ron) Schlemmer of Pine City, Connie Christiansen of California, Thomas (Ginny) Jankovich of Harlingen, Texas, James (Carmel) Jankovich of Brainard, Mn., eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 9th at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 749 6th Ave. S., South St. Paul.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral mass at the church only. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery of South St. Paul.
