Matthew Heath of Rush City, died December 27, 2012, as a result of an auto accident in Rush City at the age of 21 years.
Matthew Jacob Heath was born February 8, 1991 in Cambridge, MN. He was raised in Rush City where he attended the Rush City schools, earning his Eagle Scout at the age of 17 and graduated in June, 2009 at 18.
He enjoyed riding his bike, Xbox, working on cars, building things and hanging out with his many friends. He had a laid back personality and was always smiling. He was good at letting his dog, Fred Fred in the house and spoiling him.
He took pride in his work and for good reason. He was getting his life on track and had plans to return to school taking up welding.
He was taken from us before we were ready to let him go. He still had a lot of smiles to share and memories to make. Until we see you again.
Matthew is survived by his mother JoEllen Heath, his father Mark Heath both of Rush City, sister Barb Heath (Cam Hartman) of Minneapolis, grandmother Janice Lind of Rush City, aunts and uncles: Joanne Bray of Indianapolis, Steve Lind and his wife Tracy of Sandstone, Leah Ceseno and her husband Geno of San Diego, CA, and Mike Lind of Carlton; many cousins and close friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandma Ruby Davis, Grandpa Eugene "Pete" Lind, uncle Oran Spence and his cousin Bobbi Jo Lind.
Rev. Keith Kolzow will officiate at funeral services for Matthew Heath; 3:00 p.m. Thursday (1/3/13) at the Calvary Lutheran Church of Rush Point with a time of reviewal and visitation one hour prior to the funeral. The interment will be in the Calvary Lutheran Cemetery.
