Philipp Wayne Senske, born June 27, 1968 passed away unexpectedly at his father’s home in Grasston, MN on January 1, 2013.
Philipp is survived by his father Ronald Senske, brother Glenn Senske (Kimberlee Bever), nieces Alexa Senske and Kieran Senske and special friend Ronnie Sue McNeil.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Marie Senske.
Born in Edina, MN, Phil lived with his parents and brother in Apple Valley until he was eight years old; when the family moved to Grasston, MN. The farm in Grasston was quite a change, and became a place to learn about hard work, something Phil was not afraid of. He worked with his father, learning enough over the years to eventually manage the shop while Ron enjoyed some much needed relaxation. An excellent mechanic, Phil was always looking for a new “project,” often referred to as his current vehicle. Those who know him will tell you that in his spare time he did things for other people; cutting wood, helping someone move, fixing a vehicle or giving someone a ride. He will be remembered fondly by many.
Funeral services were held on Monday, January 7th at Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City with Reverend Vicki Vander Vegt officiating. Interment was in the Birchwood Cemetery of Pine City. Music was provided by Jennifer Hansmann and Glenna Reierson. Casketbearers were: Darrin Schultz, Scott Senske, Chad Frey, Scott Johanson, George “Willie” Stockdill and Joe Kunze.
