Ralph Brackenbury Sr. died February 2, 2013 at Golden Horizons Assisted Living in Pine City. Ralph Sr. is survived by his children: Claudia (Fred ) Schmidt of Ellsworth, WI, Colleen (Steve) Rand of Rush City, Larry (Karen) Brackenbury of Pine City, Rene (Peggy) Brackenbury of Pine City, Ralph Jr. (Kathy) Brackenbury of Pine City, David Brackenbury of Isanti; 17 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; sisters: Violet Mackie of New Brighton and Ruth Mattson of Cambridge. He is preceded in death by his wife Katy, parents William and Louise Brackenbury, sisters: Marie Bowles, Myrtle Mullins, Louise Carpenter; brother Elmer Brackenbury. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, February 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Pine City. A time of visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at the Swanson Funeral Chapel and one hour prior to the service at the church.
