Ruby Mae Hokanson

Ruby Hokanson of Harris passed away at University of Minnesota Hospital on April 20, 2013 at the age of 86. She is survived by her son Kelly Hokanson and his wife Kelly of Harris, brother Floyd (Marcia) Schweigert of Cushing, OK, sisters-in-law: Dorethy Schweigert of Laurie, MO, and Mavis Schweigert of Rush City, MN; her brother-in-law Don Barthel of Albertville, MN, many nieces and nephews, family and friends. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents Mildred and George Schweigert, husband Leo Hokanson, brothers: George Schweigert and Earl Schweigert; sister Betty (Schweigert) Barthel. Rev. Therese Helker will officiate at a memorial service; 11:00 a.m. Friday (4/26/13) at the First Lutheran Church of Harris. A time of visitation is planned for one hour prior to the service at church. Music will be provided by Carolyn Holmstrom. Honorary casket bearers include the Harris American Legion Auxilary with the inurnment in the Oak Grove Cemetery of Harris.
