Donald Eugene Olson

Donald E. Olson of Pine City, passed away at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at the age of 81. Donald is survived by his wife Donna Olson, children: Bonnie (Bob) Coolidge of Braham, Linda (Hidelio) Diaz of O'Brien, Florida, and Jim Olson of Pine City; 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Ray & Grace Olson and his son Brian Olson. Reverend Vicki VanderVegt will officiate a memorial service; 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, (June 18, 2013) at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Pine City. A time of visitation is planned for Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Swanson Funeral Chapel. Military honors will be provided by Heath-Perkins American Legion Post #51, Novak-Milliren VFW Post #4258 and the Minnesota National Guard. Inurnment will be in Birchwood Cemetery of Pine City. Funeral arrangements for Donald E. Olson of Pine City are entrusted to the Funeral and Cremation Service - Swanson Chapel of Pine City.
