Linda Sue Lind

Linda Sue Lind of Rush City passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2013, after a 3 year battle with lung cancer at the age of 67. Linda was born September 7, 1945, in Duluth, Minnesota to Ruby and Saben Larson. She graduated as Valedictorian from Finlayson High School in 1963. In 1965 she married Frank “Bunny” Lind, lived a short time in Fridley, and then made their home in Rush City. They had one son, Bruce, who was born in 1966 and one daughter, Sharie, who was born in 1970. Linda worked at Dennis Kirk for the last 35 years in various capacities, most recently in the Purchasing Department. Linda enjoyed reading, playing scrabble, and working at Dennis Kirk tradeshows. What she enjoyed most was boating and camping with her husband, Christmas Eve and any opportunity to spend time with her grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, a proud mother, a kind friend and a doting grandmother who loved her grandchildren above all else – tales of her grandchildren’s milestones were the highlights of her day. She is survived by her husband Frank "Bunny" Lind, son Bruce and his wife Jenny Lind of Rush City, daughter Sharie Lind (Chris O'Neal) of White Bear Lake, her sister Karen Randall (Robert), grandchildren: Jordan Larson, Amanda Welsch and Jaxon Lind-O'Neal and many cousins, nieces and a nephew. Linda is preceded in death by her parents Saben & Ruby Larson. Reverend Laurie O'Shea will officiate a memorial service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Rush City. A time of visitation will be held on Friday evening from 4:00-7:00 p.m. also at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church.
