She was a very beautiful child, extremely bright and knew all her colors at 14 months old.
On January 9, 2008 Laura was joined by baby brother Chas. She took her role as a big sister seriously, giving him directions for all facets of his life, which he usually didn’t follow much to Laura’s dismay.
Erin shared her love for horses and her riding skills with Laura who learned to ride at two years old. Laura loved her horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, turtles, even the old rooster Mr. Feathers. She loved nature and for a child had a deep appreciation of it.
Laura attended Growing in Grace Preschool at Zion Lutheran Church for 2 years before starting kindergarten at Pine City Elementary School. She was an outstanding student and was named an academic star in kindergarten and first grade.
A huge highlight for Laura’s life was running for Little Miss Pine City in 2011. Laura loved princesses, tiaras, sequins and all things sparkly.

She learned to swim well enough this summer to go to the raft with her cousins at Big Pine Lake, where she was well known for running around in her bathing suit and 4th of July tiara.
