Charlotte Ann Noyes

Charlotte Ann Noyes passed away December 11, 2013 at Lakeside Medical Center in Pine City, MN. She was born August 16, 1963 to Joseph and Sharon Fix. She attended her elementary years at St. Mary’s Catholic School and her high school years at Pine City High School. Charlotte worked at Lakeside Nursing Home for many years; starting at age 16. On September 17, 1983 she married Robert Joseph Noyes. They had two children Robert Joseph Noyes Jr. and Nancy Noyes. Charlotte and Bob lived east of Rock Creek and Charlotte worked at Lee’s Pro Shop for several years. She also worked for a temp agency for a short period of time. In later years, Charlotte enjoyed working as a home health aid for Grace Point Crossing in Cambridge and Sunrise Heath Care Center in Stacy and at various other places until she was diagnosed with stage four liver cancer. She fought a very courageous battle for three years. Charlotte was active in Catholic Prayer group, Council of Catholic Women, 4-H, Girl Scouts and The Flames snowmobile club. She enjoyed quilting, camping, deer hunting, stamping and loved flowers. She made a point to attend family and friends weddings, graduations and reunions. Staying in touch with family was important to her and meant so much. Charlotte is preceded in death by her grandparents, Dorothy & John Fix, Elizabeth & Edgar Carpenter, father-in-law Robert Noyes and grandfather-in-law Chester Dukeman. Charlotte is survived by her husband of 30 years Robert Joseph Noyes; son Robert Joseph Noyes Jr. (Kim Peters) of Braham, daughter Nancy Noyes Pine City; her parents Joseph & Sharon Fix of Pine City, grandchildren Sam Colby, Aden Noyes, Haley Sauter & Emily Henley; sisters Charlene (Dave) Goodman of Baldwin, WI, Cheryl (Mark) Knudson of Brook Park; brothers Dennis (Lana) Fix, Harold (Roxy) Fix and Charles Fix (Jenny Peterson) all of Pine City; sister-in-law Jackie (Mark) Charpentier of Stacy, nieces, nephews; Ashley & Betty Goodman, Jared, Ryan & Luke Knudson, Brittany, Bryce & Tanner Fix, Kylie & Siarra Fix, Charles Jr., William & Hayden Fix, Samantha (Jim) Gordy, James (Lynn) Hanson, Becky (Todd) Wilson and John Charpentier; mother-in-law Joyce Dukeman; grandmother-in-law Delores Dukeman. Monsignor Aleksander Suchan will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Pine City. A time of visitation is planned for Monday evening from 4-7 p.m. at the Swanson Chapel in Pine City with a Rosary recited at 6:45 p.m. There will also be visitation one hour prior to Mass in the St. Anthony Commons area at the church on Tuesday. Interment will take place in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Pine City with the following casket bearers: Vern Fix, Donny Fix, Peter Vavra, Jim Vavra, John Plasek and Mark Knudson.
