Sylvia Diane Mead

Sylvia Mead, age 75, died Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Sophie's Manor in Pine City. She is survived by her children: Joan Lindman of Henriette, Raymond Mead of Pine City, Clark Mead of North Branch; 6 grandchildren: Jennifer (Kevin) Remackel of Cambridge, Rachel (Joey) DeFrates of Arkansas, Jason Lindman of White Bear Lake, Jacob Lindman of Pine City, Jessica (Gregory) Hollon of Henriette, Hannah Mead of Pine City; 17 great grandchildren: Jade, Serenity, Destiney, and Kevin II Remackel, Dakota, Seth, Sierra, and Ava DeFrates, Alexis, Aaleaha, Jason Jr., Devon, and Summer Lindman, Jacob Jr., Mercedes, and Jaydon Lindman, Kylie Rose Hollon. Sylvia is also survived by sisters: Agnes Klinder of Sauk Rapids, Arlene Wiberg of Pine City, Lucille (Steven) McIllhargey of Pine City, Vivian (Wally) Seth of North Branch; brothers: Virgil (Lena) Olsen of Kent, Washington, Douglas (Dorothy) Olsen of Mora. Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents Einer and Ruth (French) Olsen, sisters: Delores Stabenow, Leola Olsen; brothers: Clifford, Milton, Thorvald, Lyle, and Howard Olsen. A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the Heath Perkins American Legion Post #51 in Pine City. Arrangements are with the Funeral and Cremation Service of Pine City, Swanson Chapel.
