Daniel Michael Mitzel

Daniel Mitzel of Pine City, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at his home in Pine City at the age of 34.  At the age of two, Dan developed a love for fishing that remained all through his life.  He will always be remembered as the one who caught the most fish and the biggest fish! He is survived by his father Mike Mitzel of Pine City, mother Deb Taylor (Robert Shember) of Burnsville, brother Tom  Mitzel (Kim A. Schultz) of Pine City, daughter Lily of New Ulm, nieces & nephews: Geri, Brooke, Tommy, Jordan, and Dustin; grandparents: Garry & Sharon Taylor of Rosemount, Ron & Mary Mitzel of Shoreview. Dan is preceded in death by his grandmother Sally Frantz. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 2014 at the Swanson Funeral Chapel.  A time of visitation will take place one hour prior to the memorial service also at the Swanson Funeral Chapel of Pine City.
