Marilee Marie Norris

Marilee Marie Norris of St. Anthony, formerly of Rush City, with family at her side passed away peacefully and entered into heaven on Thursday, May 15th while at the J.A. Wedum Residential Hospice in Brooklyn Park at the age of 55. Marilee was born September 23, 1958 in Rush City to James and Marie Norris. She graduated from Rush City High School in 1976 and then went on to a long career as a medical transcriptionist. Marilee will be remembered as a kind and gentle soul who loved birds and animals, especially Brutus, Bridget, Tina and Hey – You. Marilee is survived by her brothers: Eugene (Monica) Norris of Arkansas, James Norris (Barb Wilke) of Zimmerman, and Wayne Norris (Dori Wicklund) of Rush City; long time partner Duane Nakorski and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents James & Marie (Webber) Norris, niece Jill Norris, and her step mother Dorothy Wirig (Norris). Father James Hahn will celebrate a memorial mass at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 23rd at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Rush City. A visitation will take place one hour prior also at the church.
