James "Jim" Henry Dombrock

March 3, 1937 — July 5, 2014

Jim Dombrock age 77 of Pine City, formerly of Newport, MN., died Saturday, July 5th at his home in Pine City. Jim was formerly the owner of Metro Transports and was a retired employee of the Midwest Asphalt Co. in St. Paul. Jim is survived by his wife Marlene, his children Thomas "Tom" (Patti Thompson) Dombrock of St. Paul, Linda (Dan) Vuicich of Cloquet, MN., Theodore "Ted" Dombrock of Florida, grandchildren Aleksander, Patrick, Elizabeth, and Anne Dombrock, Amanda and Benjamin Vuicich, and sister Karen Banaszewski of Hastings. Jim is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Gustave H. and Lillian Dombrock. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 11th at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 825 Golf Ave. SW, Pine City, MN. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the church and continue until the time of service. Interment will be at a later date at Newport Cemetery in St. Paul. Memorials are preferred to the Pine City Lions Club Because of construction the best directions to Our Redeemer Lutheran church are: exit 169 off of Interstate 35 to Pine City,(east) on Hillside Ave. to 8th street,(south) to Golf Ave.,(right) to church.
