Mary Catherine Taft

Mrs. Mary (Sybrandt) Taft of Pine City and formerly of Rush City; passed away Tuesday (7/29/14) at her home in Pine City at the age of 97. Mary is survived by her daughter Sandi Niemeyer and her husband Jeff of Elko, sons: Archie Sybrandt and his wife Sharon of Harrisburg, PA, Delbert Sybrandt of Rush City; 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, sisters: Julia "Julie" Christian and her husband Lloyd of Mora, Evelyn Sellman of Shafer, Josephine Thor of St. Paul; brother Albert Resch of Billings, MT, sister-in-law Mariel Resch, brother-in-law Larry Hemmer, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents John & Bertha (Mohr) Resch, husbands Keith Sybrandt and Roy Taft, daughter May Ann Young, sons: David and Glenn Sybrandt; sisters: Margaret Hemmer, Barbara Cilek; and brothers: Leo, Tony, Leonard and Frank. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 2nd at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rush City. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 5-8 p.m. at the Olson Funeral Chapel of Rush City. Interment will be in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery of Rush City.
