Jean Elaine Arnt

Jean Arnt, 83 passed away August 28, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, MN. Jean was born on November 11, 1930 to Laura (Gabert) and Edward Franz. She was one of seven children. Jean enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, entertaining company and polka dancing. Jean married Dean Arnt on February 28, 1973. They lived in Jefferson, Iowa for 2 years, in Sturgeon Lake, MN. for 20 years before moving to Brook Park, MN. for the past 19 years. Jean is survived by her husband Dean, 3 sons Gary (Jeanette), Ron and Dave Masterman, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 12 step-children, 23 step grandchildren and 8 step great grandchildren. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and numerous friends, especially Kala who gave endless loving care and support to Jean in her time of need. Jean was preceded in death by her son Glen Masterman, her parents, 3 sisters, 3 brothers and 1 step daughter Patty. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 5th 2014 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 825 Golf Ave. SW, Pine City with visitation from 9:00 am until 11:00 am with luncheon to follow. Interment will be in the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Mahtomedi, MN. at approx. 2:30 pm Friday.
