Gertrude Catherine Stepanek

Gertrude Stepanek, age 89 of Pine City died Monday, October 27, 2014 in Foreston, Minnesota. Gertrude is survived by her children: Jackie (James) Hanson of Pine City, Sandra (Douglas) Lanz of Foreston, Peter (Tina) Stepanek of Sierra Vista, Arizona, Joseph (Robin) Stepanek of Gilbert, Arizona, 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, sister Frances Davis of North Carolina, and sister-in-law Jane Flaherty of Chisago City. She is preceded in death by her parents Peter and Catherine (Trudo) Nuener, husband Donald Stepanek, sons: Mark, Jerry, and Ron Stepanek, siblings: Clarence, Bernie, and Ethel. A committal service will be held at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Mesa, Arizona where she will be reunited with her husband Donald.
