Delphine Mae Johnson

Delphine died Sunday, October 26th at her home in Pine City.  She was 81 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Albina Saumer, her husband Gordon H. Johnson, step-son Wayne Johnson, sister Mary Alice Stoffel and sisters-in-law Ella Saumer and Joanne Saumer. Delphine is survived by her daughters Nancy (John) House of Bellingham, Washington, Ruth Ann Mollberg (Craig Emerson) of Sandstone, MN., step-sons Jim (Sara) Johnson of Anoka, Brian (Melanie) Johnson of Andover, step-daughter-in-law Cheri (Ken) Southorn of Pine City, grandchildren Jeff (Sarah) Johnson, Michael (Betsy) Johnson, Susan (Patrick) Corcoran, Rebecca (Dan) Sedlacek, Daniel Johnson, Shanda (Ben) Marker, Erik (Kristi) Johnson, Annika (Josh) Nietz, Alexandra House, Bailey and Brittney Mollberg, thirteen great grandchildren, sister Lucille Johnson of Pine City, brothers Andrew Saumer of Pine City, Robert Saumer of Mesa, Az., William Saumer of Pine City and former brother-in-law Walt Johnson of Pine City. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 30th at Immaculate Conception Church in Pine City with Msgr. Aleksander Suchan celebrating the mass. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29th with a 6:30 prayer service at Swanson Funeral Chapel and also 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.  Interment will be in the West Rock Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the West Rock Cemetery or Pine City Senior Dining Center.
