Martha Anna Hanson

Martha Anna Hanson of Pine City died Sunday, November 2, 2014 at the age of 94. Martha was born May 11, 1920 in Pokegama Township to Louis and Mary (Matejcek) Broz where she grew up with her 11 brothers and sisters. She married Bruce Hanson on February 5, 1941. They raised their 3 children: Judy, Bruce, and Chuck in Rock Creek on the farm. Martha is survived by her children: Judy Libbert of Kansas City, Missouri, Bruce (Marlys Dobis) Hanson of St. Joseph, Minnesota, Chuck (Gail) Hanson of Danbury, Wisconsin; grandchildren: Mary (Rick Cadwallader) Stodgell, Martha (David) Robins, Todd (Kate Pauly) Hanson, Melanie Wallwork, Sean (Heather) Hanson; great grandchildren: Megan (Jared) Kenworthy, Frank Stodgell, E.J. Stodgell, J.C. McGeary, Emily Robins, Chloe Wallwork, MacKenna Hanson, Madelein Hanson, and Rebecca Hanson; great great granddaughter Brooke Kenworthy. She is preceded in death by her parents Louis & Mary (Matejcek) Broz, husband Bruce Hanson, 8 brothers, 3 sisters, and daughter-in-law Marcia Hanson.
