Lois Helen Kilmer

Lois Helen Kilmer was born in Oaks, North Dakota on June 6, 1927, daughter of William Valentine and Orisa (Hitchcock) Mitchell. She had one sister and three brothers. The family moved to Onamia, MN in her early years. Lois and Arthur Kilmer were married in Aitkin on July 27, 1946. Together they raised a family of 11 children. After Arthur’s passing, she and her children returned to Onamia, MN. In later years Lois lived in Cannon Falls, Pine City, and lastly at the Golden Living Center in Rush City where she went home to meet the Lord surrounded by her loving family on December 4, 2014. She was 87. She cared for her family and enjoyed spending time with all her friends and relatives. Some of her interests included knitting, crocheting, crossword puzzles, reading, and traveling independently or with family. She was proud of her descendants, which included 11 children and spouses, 34 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Lois is survived by children Janice (Jerry) Berg of McGregor, MN, Judy (Glen) Seibert of Cohasset, MN, Linda (Ronald) Vivant, Cheryl (Rick) Peine, William Kilmer, all of Hampton, MN., Kenneth (Cathy) Kilmer of Ellsworth, WI, Mary Cadle of Cannon Falls, MN, Karen (Todd) Satter of Pine City, Becky (Kelly) Ruddle of Hastings, MN, Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.Lois was preceded in death by her husband Arthur, two sons Leslie and LeRoy, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one sister and three brothers.A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 10th at the Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City with Pastor Tim Adams officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.  Interment will be in Ft.
