Eva Anderson of Rush City and Rush Point, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at the Villages of North Branch at the age of 95. Eva Elizabeth Anderson was born June 11, 1919 in Stacy, Minnesota; the youngest daughter of Anton & Anna (Pearson) Lundquist. She had three brothers and one sister. Eva lived on a farm where she helped with some of the farm work and housework. She graduated from North Branch High School where she was a member of the girls track team. Eva was employed at Powers Department Store in sales for three years before she married Roy Anderson on May 25, 1940. They celebrated their 67th anniversary in 2007. Roy and Eva opened their own bakery in Rush City in 1947 and made cakes and bakery goods for Cambridge, Braham, Grandy and Rush Point areas. Eva enjoyed playing cards, golfing, fishing, bowling and socializing with friends and family. She was a member of Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church at Rush Point and assisted with many church activities. Eva is survived by her son Dennis "Buddy" Anderson and his wife Betty of Rochester, MN, grandchildren; Randy Palmer and friend Diane Gaines of Rush Point, Lisa Harter of Las Vegas, NV, Christopher Anderson of Rochester, MN, Anthony (Michele) Anderson of St. Charles, MN and Melissa (Ken) Williment of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, great grandchildren; Jessica Palmer of Woodbury, MN, Trevor Anderson, Eva Anderson of St. Charles, MN, Onaleigh Williment, Makayla Williment of Halifax Nova Scotia, Canada, one great great granddaughter Alexa Dephilippo of Woodbury, MN She is preceded in death by her parents Anton & Anna (Pearson) Lundquist, husband Roy, daughter Kathleen Andrews and her husband Leo, brothers: Thor Lundquist and his wife Agnes, Walter Lundquist and his wife Connie, Gordon Lundquist and his wife Viola and her sister Ellen Wickstrom. Reverend Keith Kolzow will officiate Eva's funeral service; 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at the Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rush Point. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service also at the church. Inurnment will be in the Calvary Northview Cemetery in Rush Point.
