Jeffrey Garth Tofte

Jeffrey Tofte of Mesa, AZ and currently residing in Harris, MN, passed away on Saturday, December 27th, 2014 at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, at the age of 56. Jeff was born October 31, 1958 in Sac City, Iowa to Robert & Gloria (Fritchman) Tofte. Jeff grew up in the Chicago area, where he graduated from high school. He spent time in Williams Bay, Wisconsin and most recently Mesa, Arizona. Jeff worked as a commercial flooring installer most of his work life. Jeff's medical problems which included two liver transplants, brought him to Minnesota to receive medical treatment at the University of Minnesota Medical Center. Jeff Tofte is survived by his wife Laurie, mother Gloria Tofte of Harris, daughters: Carlina Tofte, Jesse Tofte both of Milwaukee, WI, Brittini Sherrod of Los Angeles, CA; sisters: Sherri (Bob) Richae of Lake Geneva, WI, Wendy (Larry) Keith of Wheeling, IL; brother Greg Tofte of Harris, MN, many nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Robert Tofte and his grandparents.
