Rick Lindstrom of Stillwater, owner of Rick's Liquor in Wyoming and Hugo, passed away on Thursday, (1/1/2015) at the age of 55 at The Pillars Hospice Home in Oakdale, Minnesota.
Rick was born October 21, 1959, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Gerald and Sharon Lindstrom. He has two brothers, Scott and Brent. Rick prided himself on the good care he took of his brother Scott during their youth. His greatest pride was his three sons, Nick (22), Alex (19), and Mitchell (17).
Rick lived in Rush City, MN and worked for McDonald Distributing during his early adulthood. He went on to own and manage two liquor stores up until his death. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors and was generous with his time and talent when passing these skills on to others.
Rick is survived by his sons: Nicholas, Alexander, and Mitchell Lindstrom all of Woodbury; brothers: Scott (Lori) Lindstrom of Rush City, Brent Lindstrom of Bloomington; nephews: Chris Lindstrom of Rush City, Tim (Brittany) Lindstrom of North Branch; uncles and aunts: Virgil (Karen) Lindstrom, Ruby Lindstrom and great aunt Emma Lindstrom of Pine City.
He is preceded in death by his parents Gerald "Jerry" Lindstrom & Sharon (Clauson) Lindstrom and uncle Eldon Lindstrom.
A memorial visitation will be held Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 2-5 p.m. at the Olson Funeral Chapel of Rush City; casual attire is encouraged. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
