Faith Ramona Sivigny

Faith Sivigny passed away Friday, January 9, 2015 at her home in Beroun at the age of 83.Faith was born on June 26, 1931 in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin to Albert and Emily Johnson. She grew up in Lindstrom, Minnesota with her parents, brother Walden and sister Hope. As an adult she lived in Forest Lake, Wyoming, Chisago City and lastly on the farm in Beroun.She held several manufacturing and machine operating jobs, eventually retiring from 3M in Pine City, but her heartfelt vocation was farming.Her love of the outdoors and of all animals remained with her throughout her life. There were always pets but none could compare with her constant companion, Bella, who was at her side at the very end. The family has many stories of Faith’s coon hunting, fishing, and camping escapades.Later in life she spent her time watching sports, Family Feud (laughing at Steve Harvey), doing puzzles, visiting with her kids, grandkids, and great grandchildren, and hanging out with Bella. Throughout her life, she always had an open door and a hot meal for any in need. She was known for her listening ear and no-nonsense advice. Faith was generous in her giving to charity, with priority given to ones dedicated to helping veterans. Beside her busy life of work and farming, she dedicated her time to raising six children.She is survived by children: Bob (Rita) Sivigny of Pine City, Donna (Stu) Clem of Pine City, Dan (Rita) Sivigny of Brook Park, Ron Sivigny of Pine City, Sue (Timothy) Mans of Hinckley, Randy Sivigny of Pine City; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother Walden (Lois) Johnson of North Branch, sister Hope Rummel of Belsano, Pennsylvania, and faithful friend Bella, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.Faith is preceded in death by her parents Albert & Emily (Hall) Johnson and infant sister Carmen “Charity”.Memorial services for Faith Sivigny will be held Thursday, January 15th at 11:00 a.m. at the Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City.
