Beatrice Jean Bowers

Bea Bowers passed away at First Light Hospital in Mora, MN on Thursday May 28, at the age of 78. Bea is predeceased by Father Cecil Smith, Mother Millie Smith, Sister Sally Lyons Browning. Bea is survived by her loving husband of 58 years. They were married in Munich, Germany. Mom and Grandma is lovingly remembered by Dayne Bowers-Dewhurst and husband Ken of Peoria, IL, Todd Bowers and Catherine Shen of Ningbo, China, Rody Jo Bowers of Duluth, grandchildren Travis, Jake, Lance, Nicole Bowers of Michigan; Beau Hughes, Gabriela Hughes, Elle Hughes both of Duluth, sister Gail Soderbeck and husband George of Westminster, Colorado, along with nieces and nephews. A celebration of Bea’s Life is scheduled for 4:00 pm Friday (6/5/15) at the Swanson Chapel in Pine City with a gathering of friends Thursday evening from 5-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the celebration.
