Gene Thomas Phaneuf

Gene Phaneuf, of Pine City, died Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Firstlight Medical Center in Mora at the age of 80. He is survived by his wife Betty, children: Delores (Wes) Olson of Maple Grove, Diane (Douglas) Gregory of Vancouver, Washington, Darlene (Dennis) Schopper of Crystal, Doug Phaneuf of Pine City, Dave (Lisa) Phaneuf of Clearwater, Denise (Erik) Edstrom of Brooklyn Center, 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, brothers: Dale Galles and Ronald Peterson, sisters: Lorraine Allen and Sharon Street. He is preceded in death by his parents John & Jeanette (Boyce) Phaneuf, 1 sister, and 9 brothers. A Celebration of Life BBQ is being planned by the family to be held at their Pokegama Lake home.
