Norman David Luttrell

July 18, 1960 — July 27, 2015

Norman David Luttrell, of Rush City, passed away on July 27, 2015, at Birchwood Health Care Center in Forest Lake, at the age of 55. His brain tumor battle began on Christmas Eve 2003 and throughout his long fight he paired a strong will to live with a great sense of humor. He is survived by his wife, Korbi of Rush City, children David (Theresa) Luttrell of Oak Park Hts., Elexis (David) Corgan of Coon Rapids, Frank Luttrell of Mpls. and Eddie Luttrell of Rush City; grandchildren Aurora and Conan Corgan, and Xavier Luttrell; father MJ Luttrell of Indianapolis, sister Leanne (Eddy) Franke of Fortville, IN and brother Milt (Valerie) Luttrell of Carlton; aunt Cissy Luttrell, uncles Chet Hume and Douglas (Judy) Luttrell; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and cousins. He is also survived by the Larson and Salmonson families, many co-workers and friends, the Rush City community and his Rush City Baptist Church family. He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Luttrell, and aunts and uncles Bonnie (Pete) Blood, Irene Hume, Floyd (Bonita) Luttrell, Henson Luttrell and James Luttrell. A celebration of Norman’s life will take place at 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 2, at Rush City Baptist Church, officiated by Pastors David Melin and Jason Karlsson. A time of visitation will take place from 5-8:00 PM on Saturday, August 1, at Olson Funeral Chapel in Rush City, and one hour prior to the service at church.Inurnment will take place at the First Lutheran Cemetery in Rush City.
