Reuben Ernest Marten

Reuben Marten of Pine City, formerly of Tomah, Wisconsin, passed away Friday, October 16, 2015 at his home at the age of 91. Reuben is survived by his wife Katharina, daughter Irma Ericson of Pine City, grandchildren: Douglas, Len, Todd, Scott, Kathy and husband Wade, Jim Jr. and wife Lori, Jody and husband Dan; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, sister Viona Seleski of Spokane, WA, brother Raymond Marten of Tomah, WI, godson Douglas Baumann and wife Dianna of Tomah, WI, numerous other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Elmer & Edna (Schueman) Marten, siblings: Robert, Bernita, Gladys, and son-in-law Jim Ericson. The funeral service for Reuben Marten is scheduled for Wednesday, October 21, 2015, 10:00 a.m. at Swanson Chapel in Pine City with a time of visitation and reviewal one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Interment will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis with full military honors.
