Robert Scott Lewellin, lovingly known to his family and friends as Rob, was born January 9, 1960 to Lawrence and Gladys (Fors) Lewellin at Rush City, Minnesota. The eighth of their ten children, Rob grew up on the family farm at Brook Park, Minnesota.
In 1979, Rob met Rebecca Beaulieu and they were married in September of 1982. With this union Rob became stepfather to Becky’s son, Troy Wimmer. Rob and Becky were blessed with a beautiful son, Travis Scott Lewellin on November 22, 1982.
Later, Rob moved his family to Pelican Rapids, Minnesota while he attended Detroit Lakes Technical College. He graduated from there with a degree in small engine repair.
Sadly, in 1987, Rob and Becky decided to separate and dissolve their marriage. In an effort to keep their family together, they moved to Washington. After two years they returned to Minnesota and eventually parted ways.
In 1997, Rob and Debbie Schultz started their life together in Henriette, Minnesota. Rob enjoyed gardening, working in his shop, hunting, and fishing. He had many fun and memorable times with friends and family members that were around and always ready for a good time.
On August 21, 2007 Rob became a grandpa for the first time when Travis and Jessica welcomed their son, Easton Scott Lewellin, into the world. He was a very proud grandpa to Easton, as well as to the step-grandchildren born to his stepson, Troy.
Rob passed away unexpectedly at his home in Henriette on March 2, 2009, having reached the age of 49 years. He loved and lived a lot of life in a short time and had many good friends and loving family members. He will be deeply and greatly missed.
