Donald L. Doran

Don Doran, age 85, of Pine City, and a former Pine City businessman, died Tuesday, March 17th at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Minneapolis. He is survived by his wife Myrt, his children Gary Gruett and his wife Kathy of Burnsville, Cheryl & her husband Jim Richter of North Branch, Becky and her husband Doug Berglund of Pine City, Colleen & her husband Dennis Pitt of Brainerd, and Tom Doran and his wife Jane of Elysian, Minnesota. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and one sister Shirley Huebl of Mankato. Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 21th at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Pine City with Pastor Ron Boettner officiating. Interment will be in the Birchwood Cemetery of Pine City. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Swanson Funeral Chapel and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Arrangements are with the Swanson Funeral Chapel of Pine City.
