Cindy Lou Knutson

Cindy Knutson of Little Falls, formerly of Pease and Pierz, passed away at her home in Little Falls on December 11, 2015 at the age of 63.Cindy Knutson was born to Galen and Doris “Dode” (Sorset) Knutson on May 12, 1952 in Minneapolis, MN.  Her siblings were Trayce, Luann, Gail and Greg.  Cindy graduated from Patrick Henry High School in Minneapolis in 1970 and married Steven M Compton that same year.  Cindy and Steven had two sons, Steven II and Chad. Growing up, Cindy enjoyed ice skating, dancing with Steve and spending time with her siblings.  Later on, she collected jewelry, knick knacks, stickers, pictures and enjoyed coloring!      More than anything, Cindy loved being a mother to her sons and a grandma to her grandkids Ashley, Shyanne, Amanda, Nathaniel, Seth, Adien, Breanne, Anthony, Andrew and Alyssia.  She is survived by her sons Steve Compton II of Mora and Chad Compton of Little Falls; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings Trayce Olsen of Coon Rapids, LuAnn (Tom) Tyson of Albertville, Gail (Mike) Tiedeken of St. Michael, Greg Knutson of Champlin and many nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her parents Galen and Dode Knutson.Pastor Marlin Harris will officiate at funeral services for Cindy Knutson; 11:00 AM Friday (12/18/15) with a time of visitation one hour prior to the service all at the True Vine Lutheran Church in Mora.Funeral arrangements for Cindy Knutson are entrusted to the: Funeral and Cremation Service of Rush City~Olson Chapel. www.funeralandcremationservice.com
