Joyce Walter Hanson

Mr. Joyce Hanson of Granstsburg, Wisconsin, formerly of Pine City died Friday at Grace Point Crossing West in Cambridge, MN. at the age of 89. Mr. Joyce Hanson is survived by his children Yvonne VanDerSchaegen and her husband Robert, Mary Jane Snider and her husband Frank, Arthur Hanson and his wife Dorothy, Walter Hanson and his wife Sandy, Caroline Green and her husband Edward, Dennis Hanson, 24 grandchidren, 25 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren. Sisters Virginia DeRocker, Arlene Bengtson, Betty McNeil, Gladys B’Angelo and husband Leonard, Jane Kurkowski and her husband Al, sister-in-law Josephine Hanson and nieces, nephews and friends. Joyce Hanson is preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Edith Hanson, his wife Annette, infant twins George and Leo Hanson, brother Alton Hanson and his sister June Sommerfeld. Funeral services for Joyce Hanson were celebrated; 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday (4/15/09) at the Swanson Chapel in Pine City. A time of visitation and reviewal was held for one hour prior to the service. Mr. Joyce Hanson was intered in the First Lutheran Cemetery at Rush City.
