Marie Jane Thieman

Marie Jane Thieman of Pine City passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016 at her home at the age of 58. She was a most beautiful soul that was taken far too soon. Marie was born to Denny John Thieman and Nicolasa (Rodriguez) Thieman on July 6, 1957 in Laredo, TX. She was kind hearted and loved by family and friends. Marie was a gentle person, and was incredibly courageous in her short battle with cancer. Marie is survived by her significant other Horace “Hoss” Otis of Pine City; son Brian Otis of St. Louis Park; father Denny (Ellen) Thieman of Scottsdale, AZ; sister Debi (Ted) Hagfors of Braham; brother Denny “DJ” (Debbie) Thieman of Pine City; many aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her mother Nicolasa (Rodriguez) Thieman and grandparents. Memorial service for Marie Thieman; 4:00 PM Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the Swanson Chapel in Pine City, Minnesota. A time of visitation is planned for one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
