Robert Warren Hard

Robert Warren Hard passed away Friday, March 4, 2016 at Abbott Northwestern in Minneapolis the age of 83. Robert was born May 6, 1933 to Arthur and Grace (Moe) Hard in St. Helens, Oregon. In 1958 Robert met Marilyn “Patty” Patricia Anderson in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They were married in Watertown, South Dakota in 1968. Robert was employed by Wheaton VanLines as an over the road trucker for many years. Their son Jason was born in 1971; the same year Robert became a Metal Fabricator/Welder. Robert is survived by his wife Patty, son Jason (Adrienne) Hard of Rush City, grandchildren Ryan, Megan and Aidan Hard, brother Wade (Mary) Hard of Fallon, Nevada, sister Wanda (Richard) Moyer of Fall City, Nebraska, many nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Arthur Robert Hard, mother Grace Worrell, brother and sister-in-law Wayne (Carol) Hard. Pastor Rob Spahr will officiate at the memorial service for Robert: 2:00 p.m., Wednesday (3/9/16) at the First Presbyterian Church in Pine City. A time of visitation is planned for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will take place at the Markville Cemetery in Markville, Minnesota.
