Cynthia Ann Bodell

July 16, 1953 — March 25, 2016

Cindy Bodell; affectionately known as Cinder and Cinderella; passed away suddenly and unexpectedly Friday (3/25/16) at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis surrounded by family, at the age of 62. Audrey raised Cindy fully expecting her to be able to accomplish all the things the physicians said she would never do. As a result Cindy attended schools in St. Paul, Friesland, and Bethel which prepared her to live a full and happy life. Cindy worked tirelessly at jobs at several locations, her favorite being her job at Green Acres Nursing Home in North Branch. Cindy loved watching current TV shows, listening to popular music and spending time with family. A child like person, Cindy was sweet, cute, fun and funny to be around. She spent much of her day organizing her bedroom and keeping it neat following a well established routine. Cindy loved celebrations; especially her own birthday!! She was very good at bringing out the best in everyone. She is survived by her father and step-mother Norman (Sue) Bodell of Rush City, siblings Rocky (Julie) Bodell of Rock Creek, Val (Dan) Larson, Lisa (Tim) Morris all of Rush City, aunts LaVon Coury of North Branch, Char Nowling of Cambridge, Doreen Nowling-Grave of Henriette, uncle Jimmy Bergvig of Rush City, Godmother Donna Miller, many nieces, nephews, cousins and recent caregiver Dawn Lacina.
