Francis “Crowbar” Clifford of Rush City passed away Friday, April 29, 2016 at the Golden Living Center in Rush City at the age of 86.
Francis George Clifford was born on December 30, 1929 to Arthur and Ella (Belden) Clifford in the village of Harris, Minnesota. He lived in Rush City his entire life and was a Jack of all trades. There wasn’t much that he couldn’t do. Crowbar loved the outdoors which included hunting, fishing, picking berries and just walking in the woods. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Crowbar is survived by his children Lois “Janie” (Jay) Corrier of Rush City, Harold Clifford of Milledgeville, Georgia, Susie (Steve) Saine of Blandon, Pennsylvania, Scott Clifford of Harris, Howie (Torri) Clifford of Rock Creek, 22 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and great friends.
He is preceeded in death by his parents Arthur and Ella Clifford, son Bruce Clifford, daughter Lynn Edmonds, grandson Jesse Clifford, granddaughter Aalandria Edmonds, brother Harry (Sylvia) Clifford and sister Gertie (Hugo) Scott.
Crowbar's life will be celebrated with a gathering of friends and family 5:00 – 8:00 PM Friday, May 6, 2016 at the Olson Funeral Chapel in Rush City.
