Thomas Pedginski was born on October 20, 1938 to Jerome Sr. and Viola (Stock) Pedginski in Cook, Minnesota.
When Tom was a young boy his family moved to East St. Paul, Minnesota. While growing up on the eastside of St. Paul he attended Johnson High School.
At just 19 years old he married Janice Boyer. They made their home in Roseville, Minnesota, and raised a family of one daughter Clarette and 4 sons; Tom, Joe, Ray and Ron. Tom was employed with St. Paul Brass Foundry until 1973 when he bought a 7-acre hobby farm in Rock Creek, Minnesota. Tom and his family enjoyed 43 years together on their hobby farm.
He loved to fill the freezer with venison from his deer hunting trips. He also raced pigeons, raised bees, had horses, and loved hunting raccoons with his favorite dogs. Over the years, he had many other farm animals and enjoyed working in his gardens.
In the last years before his retirement Tom worked for Mr. Frandsen at his home and later at Plastech in Rush City, Minnesota.
He dedicated his spiritual life to God for 55 years and was very faithful in serving God.
Thomas will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Janice of Rock Creek, children: Thomas (Stacie) Pedginski of Oregon, Joseph (Jeanette) Pedginski of Alaska, Raymond Pedginski of Alaska, Clarette (John) Rennick of Pine City, Ronald Pedginski of Alaska, 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, sister Betty (Bob) Wilmas of White Bear Lake, brother Richard (Coreen) Pedginski of Stillwater, many other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jerome Sr. & Viola Pedginski, sister Mildred Pedginski and brother Jerome Pedginski Jr.
Memorial services for Thomas will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the Swanson Funeral Chapel, Pine City. A time of visitation is planned for one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
