Ina Mae D'Aoust

Ina D’Aoust of Pine City; passed away at the Trinity Care Center in Farmington on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the age 82. Ina Mae (Miller) D’Aoust was born in Maple Lake, Minnesota to Reuben and Alice (Denson) Miller on June 18, 1933. After graduating from West High School in Minneapolis, Ina worked at the State Capitol and also for the Crime Bureau in St. Paul. She spent most of her working career as the Pine County Clerk of Court/Court Administrator and retired in 1992. Ina met and married James "Jim" D'Aoust and they had one son, James Richard "Rick". Ina really enjoyed pets and had many cats and dogs all throughout her life. Grandma Ina loved spending time with her two grandchildren, James and Marina. Ina was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She will be greatly missed by many loved ones. Ina is survived by her son James “Rick” (Dawnelle) D'Aoust of Lakeville, grandchildren James Wallace D'Aoust and Marina Mae D'Aoust, siblings Joy Wanless of Pine City, Sharon (Larry) Stingley of Staples, Daryl (Linda) Miller of Plymouth, Dale (Diane) Miller of Eagan, David Miller of Bloomington, Marlys (Ivan) Gosnell of Maxwell, Nebraska, Linda (David) Umeda of Burnsville, many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband James D’Aoust, her parents Reuben and Alice Miller, siblings Doris, Darlene, Harvey and Bill. Reverend Dr. Vicki Vander Vegt will officiate at services for Ina: 2:30 PM Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City. Music will be provided by Tammy Hoagland and Dennis Barrett. A gathering of family and friends is planned for one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
