Mary Lou White passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at her home in Pine City at the age of 88.
Mary was a collector of warm sunny smiles. It was evident, that she had a deep love for the people around her.
Mary firmly believed the quote "Those who bring sunshine into the lives of others, cannot keep it from themselves" (J.M.Barrie)
Mary was a collector of sewing notions and quilting projects. She spent many hours pouring love and praying, into every tiny stitch of her latest creation. She was seldom seen without a needle in her hand.
Mary was a collector of "Family and Friends". She had a certain way about her, that let you know, if you were in 'her presence', you felt 'loved, and appreciated'. She adored her Journey North Church Family, and her Westchester Village Family.
She cherished time spent, with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Each year, during the summer months, Mary left for the state of Washington, and spent time with her siblings. She always seemed to have the biggest of smiles, in the photos she shared with her sisters.
Mary remained active right up until the end, at age 88 and still driving, her neighbors talk of recent trips out for ice cream. Sunday mornings were spent, greeting people to Journey North Church at the "Welcome Desk", her love for Jesus shined brightly...making sure once more, that visitors knew that someone cared.
Mary is someone who will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. Mary lived her verse..."a merry heart is good like medicine" (Proverbs 17:22) Mary is finally "HOME" rejoicing, at the feet of Jesus.
Mary is survived by her son Barry (Terry) White of Pine City, daughter Renee (Mark) Shermer of Pine City, grandchildren Eric (Erin) White of Rush City, Carrie (Jim) Stumne of Wyoming, Shannon (Ron) Huberty of Harris, Danial Lewis of San Francisco, CA, Kelly (Nick) Anderson of Pine City, Tim (Julie) Bowers of Cumming, GA, Trisha (Casey) Crandall of Phoenix, AZ, Travis (Sarah) Bowers of Woodbury, great grandchildren: Aidan, Ethan, EllieMae, Carter, McKenzie, Christian, Coleson, Charlotte, Ella, Olivia, Mariah, Savannah, Aliyah, Sophia, Olivia, Wyatt, Baby Anderson, sisters: Anna Mae “Honey” Tobin of Newport, WA, Maggie Spangler of Viola, ID, brother Jerry Price of Sheridan, WY, sisters-in-law: Beatrice (Don) Steely of Rush City, Bernice (Bob) Hanson of Forest Lake, many other relatives and friends.
